CEDAR CITY, Utah (October 31, 2025) – Southern Utah University and Cedar City will host Utah High School Activities Association (UHSAA) state football semifinal events in November.
SUU, through its Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games department, will play host to the UHSAA 8-Player, 1A, 2A, and 3A State Semifinal football games on Friday and Saturday, November 7-8. The games will be played at Eccles Coliseum.
"It is a great honor to host Utah high school students and communities from throughout the state on our beautiful campus for UHSAA tournament experiences," said Jon Oglesby, Executive Director of the Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games. "We are excited to once again showcase the best of our community to the entire state, sharing what makes Cedar City and SUU such extraordinary places."
Games will start at 10 a.m. on each day, with a full schedule of games available at https://uhsaa.org/uhsaa-football/. Eccles Coliseum will open to fans at 9:00 a.m. each day. Â
Tickets for the event can be purchased at https://gofan.co/app/school/UHSAA. As a reminder, all tickets will need to be purchased through GoFan and no cash purchases will be accepted. Additional information on the events can be found at https://www.uhsaa.org/football/2025/SUUInfo.pdf. Â
Fans are noted to be aware of various construction projects taking place on the SUU campus, including near the stadium. Fans are encouraged to park in designated free lots, which include Lots 2, 10, 11, 12, and 14 on the SUU campus. Additionally, fans are reminded to follow the clear bag policy instituted for SUU athletic events, which can be found at https://suutbirds.com/documents/2024/9/11/ClearBagPolicyFINAL.png.
