Class fee: $12.00 per class
Grounds Fee: $5.00 per horse
Working Cow: $25.00 per cow
Membership fee: (if not already a member) Individual $15.00 / Family $20.00 or a One Day membership: $10.00
Stalls are available at the Cross Hollows Event Center, Cedar City.
*Stall management not responsible for injury to animals. Use paneled stalls at own risk.
How to Register: Register online. If you are mailing in your Utah Summer Games registration form, send it to Utah Summer Games Registration, 351 West University Blvd., Cedar City, UT 84720. You can must email your Amateur Entry registration form or your Open Entry registration form to Jeffri Ann Olson at skotrodcars@scinternet.net
Registration Deadline: Registration must be completed by Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 10:00 AM. NO POST ENTRIES FOR USG CLASSES

Rules: Color Country Equestrian Club, USEF, and AQHA rules in effect. Open riders may ride in the Open Rider's Show run by CCEC. Go to colorcountryequestrian.com for entry forms.
Awards: USG Medals will be presented to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in all amateur classes. Ribbons will be awarded for 4th, 5th, and 6th place finishers.

Classes:
Working Cow:
60. Green as Grass - you have never shown in working cow, any age horse, any bridle, and can ride two handed - boxing only.
61. Youth: 18 & under - boxing only.
62. Amatuer: Non-professional, cannot train, show or make money on someone elses horse - boxing only.
72. Rookie: Have shown in green as grass but not quite ready to advance to amateur and above classes. Stay in the Rookie class until you win year end high point and then
move on.
Reining - all class descriptions are the same as working cow.
65. Green as Grass - you have never shown in reining.
66. Youth.
67. Amatuer.
68. Walk Trot - beginning introductory reining class for beginning riders, you cannot cross over into walk/trot/lope classes.
69. Freestyle Reining - open to all non-pro, any age riders.
73. Rookie.
Eligibility: The Utah Summer Games and State Games of the West is open to all State Games athletes from the following States: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Athletes from these states are eligible by participating in their local State Games in 2008 regardless of their results or placement in one of the sports, or if a resident of the State of Utah or a resident of a neighboring state (Idaho, Nevada, or Wyoming) that does not currently hold an officially recognized State Games event, for at least 30 days prior to the first day of the competition they wish to enter. In addition, students who are enrolled in a Utah college or university are eligible, as are U.S. military personnel and their family members who are stationed in Utah. The State Games of the West have been organized in accordance with NCAA guidelines with some exceptions. Athletes who have eligibility questions should check with their school athletic administrator or coach. Any athlete with scholastic or collegiate eligibility remaining must comply with rules governing his or her scholastic or collegiate eligibility.
Confirmation: Internet Registrations will immediately receive a confirmation e-mail. Mailed or delivered registrations can check at registration area before event.

Refund Policy: NO REFUNDS will be given including for medical withdrawals. If an event cannot be held due to inclement weather a voucher code may be issued to be used for another sport during the 2010 event or the same sport during the 2011 Utah Summer Games. Exceptions will be made only for the following: entries received after entry deadline; sports or competitions reaching maximum registration capacity; entries received after the maximum number of teams are bracketed or if there are not enough teams or individuals to form a division. Requests must be in writing by email to hutcheson@suu.edu.
