Larry and Randi have been archery coordinators for every year of the Utah Summer Games. Own and operate Salt Lake Archery, a professional
archery facility and an indoor shooting range. Randi and Larry are both Level 4 coaches. Both were officials at the Paralympics in Atlanta
following the 1996 Summer Olympic Games. Randi has coached several international teams and is currently the Head Coach of the USA Paralympics team.

How to Register: Register online. If you are mailing in your registration form, send it to Utah Summer Games Registration, 351 West University Blvd., Cedar City, UT 84720.
Registration Deadline: Final online registration by Thursday, June 18. Onsite registration will be Friday, June 19, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Age: Determined by age on January 1, 2009. If youth want to shoot in the higher age group, they will need to contact the coordinators.
These are new age groups: Please read carefully
Bowman: Up to and in year of 12th birthday (born in or after 1997) (must be at least 8 years old)
Cub: Up to and in year of 14th birthday (born in or after 1995)
Cadet: Up to and in year of 16th birthday (born in or after 1993)
Junior: Up to and in year of 18th birthday (born in or
after 1990)
Executive: Over 18 (shoots shorter distances than in the official adult classes) (FITA compound and recurve; Compound limited and
unlimited only; all age groups combined)
Collegiate: (full time college student)
Senior: Over 18
Master: Over 50
Sr. Master: Over 60
Archery Rules and Notes: Federation of International Target Archers (FITA) rules and regulations will be followed. This is a STAR FITA tournament where world and national records can be set.
Participants in FITA and Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) divisions must adhere to the State Dress Code. No denim is allowed and shirts must be appropriate.
There are three separate events this year: FITA, Modified Team Round, and a Round Robin. Details on the Round Robin and Team Round will be available on the field. The executive round is available for athletes over 18 who don't want to shoot the FITA distances.

The first two distances for all age groups are shot at a 122 cm. target; 6 ends of 6 arrows at each distance. The second two distances are shot at an 80 cm. target; 12 ends of 3 arrows at each distance.

Eligibility: A participant must be a resident of Utah or a resident of a neighboring state (Idaho, Nevada, or Wyoming) that does not currently hold an officially recognized State Games event.
Confirmation: Internet Registrations will immediately receive a confirmation e-mail. Mailed or delivered registrations can check at registration area before event.
Check-In: Athletes need to check in at the SUU Sorenson PE Building, 560 W University Blvd., Cedar City. Each athlete will receive a welcome packet containing the official Utah Summer Games Athlete shirt, valuable coupons and other assorted goodies. Registration will be open June 4-6 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, June 11 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and daily beginning June 12, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day except Sunday. All teams must have waivers signed by all team members if over 18 or by parents or guardians if under 18. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Refund Policy: Due to competition scheduling difficulties and USG planning and supplies requirements there are no refunds. If an event cannot be held due to inclement weather a voucher may be issued to be used for another sport during the 2009 or the same sport during the 2010 Utah Summer Games. Requests must be in writing by email to USG@suu.edu.
